Short description of the DOSIMAX plus A, DOSIMAX plus I The DOSIMAX plus A dosimeter is a fully automatic precision instrument for measuring dose, dose rate and exposure time simultaneously. Semiconductor detectors are used which offer, in comparison to ionization chambers, a number of wellknown advantages e.g. they are unaffected by air pressure and temperature. The ionization current of the semiconductor detector is measured, converted into the dosimetrical unit Gray (Gy) and then shown in the display.
