Short description of the DOSIMAX plus A, DOSIMAX plus I
The DOSIMAX plus A dosimeter is a fully automatic precision instrument for measuring dose, dose rate and exposure time simultaneously. Semiconductor detectors are used which offer, in comparison to ionization chambers, a number of wellknown advantages e.g. they are unaffected by air pressure and temperature. The ionization current of the semiconductor detector is measured, converted into the dosimetrical unit Gray (Gy) and then shown in the display.

The DOSIMAX plus A, I has the following features:
     · Automatic sensitivity changeover between radiography and fluoroscopy
     · Automatic reset
     · Easy parameter selection by using the corresponding key
     · Direct readout of measured values
     · Auto PowerOff after a period of 10 minutes when no user interaction or measuring takes place.
 
Intended Use
The DOSIMAX plus A, Dosimax plus I is intended for measuring in the being of use beam in the context of the acceptance test according to radiograph ordinance to radiograph diagnostics facilities.

Quality Assurance Tests
Even if a self check of the DOSIMAX plus A dosimeter detector combination is done after every switchon,
QA tests should be carried out at regular intervals in order to verify the general functionality, safety and general condition of the dosimeter, the detector(s) and all accessories. Please observe the environmental reference conditions stated below.
